Sure, most of them will get lost in the abyss of the internet, but one thing you can take away from this statistic is that people want to be heard. Why else would there be so many blogs made each month?

According to Technorati, there are 4 distinct categories which bloggers fall into:

• 60% of them are hobbyists  – someone who blogs for fun.
• 18% Professionals – someone who blogs for money either part time or full time.
• 13% of them are entrepreneurs – someone who blogs for a company they own/created.
• 8% Corporate – someone who blogs full time as part of their job.
